Cinematics

Read time 1 minute

Use the cinematic workspace to arrange actors, cameras, animation, movement, and audio on a timeline.

Create a sequence

  1. Create or open a cinematic project.
  2. Add the actors and cameras you need.
  3. Assign animation clips and arrange them on the timeline.
  4. Scrub or play the sequence to preview it.
  5. Choose Export and review any messages before saving the result.

Actors and animation

Select an actor to assign its role and animation clips. Use the inspector to adjust timing, speed, and looping. Add movement keys to control position and facing; enable auto key or add a key after changing a transform.

For an actor with a supported separate head, select the body in Cast and choose Add face track. Assign a compatible head animation to the new lane. Body and face clips can be timed independently. Facial preview has limitations, and audio does not automatically create lip sync.

Cameras and audio

Select a camera or shot to adjust its settings and keys. Add music, effects, or dialogue cues from the Stage Audio Library, then place and adjust them on the timeline. Assign dialogue to a speaker and positional effects to an appropriate actor. The preview does not reproduce every in-game audio effect.

Test the result

Include any required actors, animations, and audio in your stage. Preview the sequence, then test its trigger, camera, movement, and sound in game before sharing it.
